STEP 1: Getting to know you

When you first make contact with us, we will ask you a bit about your project:

• What type of renovation you are considering;
• When you’d like it done;
• The age, type and location of your home;
• Who resides in the home;

Generally, estimates are not be done over the phone as if is important to see your home, take accurate measurements and note any special conditions which may affect the renovation you are looking to undertake.

During our preliminary visit, we will review with you what you are considering for your renovation. You will be asked about who resides in your home, how everyone uses the space, how your needs may change over the next few years and how long your planning to stay in your home. These are all important considerations which we factor when talking to you about your renovation.

We will walk through you space with you reviewing what you would like to have done and provide suggestions, if required, on what can be done. Limitations to your renovation may exist in bylaws, current structure or your budget. We take detailed measurements and ask you about types of materials you would like to see in your new space – from this we are able to provide you with an accurate estimate on what your project will cost.
